Why Rend

Your money is in five places. Your budget is in none.

Spread everywhere

Banks, cards, cash and currencies, each in its own app.

Always looking back

Bank apps show what you spent, not whether this month is on track.

Stale by the 5th

Spreadsheet budgets need typing in every purchase, so they stop being true.

How it works

Set it up once. Glance at it daily.

1

Connect your accounts

Sign in on your bank's own page; Rend gets read-only access. Or import a statement.
2

Set your monthly income

One amount, or the income sources you actually have.
3

Rend sorts your spending

Into six budget jars, with the percentages you choose.
4

Check one screen

Spent against income, today's pace, and what's safe to spend per day.

Features

Built to be right, and to need nothing from you.

Arrives on its own

Transactions sync from your banks automatically. No typing.

Every currency, one total

Each wallet keeps its own currency; totals show in yours.

Safe to spend per day

What's left this month, spread over the days that are left.

Six budget jars

A share of your income for needs, fun, savings, education, the long term and giving.

Sorted for you

Categories from your bank and your own past choices, with a short walkthrough for the rest.

Numbers you can trust

Transfers between your own accounts recognised, duplicates merged, balances checked against your bank.

Also: a shared family budget, business income, cash wallets, statement import for any account, on phone and desktop.

Banks

Connect the banks you actually use.

United States — banks such as Capital One, through Plaid.

Europe — banks such as Revolut and ING, through Enable Banking, a licensed open-banking (PSD2) provider — opening to everyone during early access. Until then, import a statement.

Anything else — import a statement (CSV) from any bank or card.

Bank names are examples, not partnerships.

Security

Read-only, by design.

Rend can't move money

Bank access is read-only. There is no payment feature to misuse.

Your bank password stays with your bank

You sign in on your bank's own page. Rend never sees your password.

Your data stays yours

Stored on Rend's own servers in the EU (Romania), behind Cloudflare. Bank connection tokens are encrypted. Your data is never sold or shared with advertisers; the optional AI sorting only sees masked descriptions. Disconnect a bank or delete your account yourself, any time.
